Welcome to The East Tennessee Corvette Club

Activities

The East Tennessee Corvette club is dedicated to the enjoyment of the Corvette automobile. Our activities are many and as varied as our membership has interest.

We begin the year with an awards banquet held in early January. This event is a little more formal than our other activities but still casual. This is the time that we recognize the contributions and accomplishments of our members for the previous year.

February brings our traditional Valentine Brunch held on the Sunday closest to Valentine’s Day at a local restaurant.

We kick-off the warm weather and Corvette fun with our annual Dogwood Tour in April. This is a Sunday afternoon event touring one or more of the Knoxville area dogwood trails followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Our annual car show is held at Reeder Chevrolet in early May each year. In recent years we have held a very successful silent auction along with the car show, which benefits our charities.

June is normally picnic month. We enjoy various picnic venues such as a local park, a member’s home on the lake, or a pool gathering at the home of one of our members.

In August we like to gather at the Tic-Toc Ice Cream Parlor in Loudon on a late Saturday afternoon for ice cream and then attend movies at one of the local drive-ins.

In September we try to host a NCCC autocross. This is usually a three day event held on Labor Day weekend.

October is usually the month for Vette Fest. This is an ETCC hosted weekend event near Gatlinburg that has been held annually for several decades. It draws participation from several states and includes a car show, dance, and various other activities.

Later in the month we have our very popular Fall Color Tour. We spend time touring the countryside enjoying the fall colors of East Tennessee. Our mid-way destination is usually one of the state parks in East Tennessee where we enjoy an excellent Sunday noon meal and then return to the Knoxville area.

December is holiday time with a club Christmas party held at Reeder Chevrolet. In addition to all of these traditional activities we will have special events from time to time such as a trip to the Corvette Plant and Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky; a weekend in the mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway; or a visit to an area car collectors museum.

This is only a partial list of the things the Club does. Check out our calendar.

We are always open to new and exciting activities as suggested and organized by our members.
